After traveling to Berlin and Munich, our last stop in Europe was Paris!
You can’t go to Paris and not see the Eiffel tower, so that’s exactly what we did. When visiting, you can pay to walk up the stairs or you can pay for an elevator ride. Obviously, the stairs are the cheaper route so that’s exactly what we did. We don’t regret it at all!
Looking out over Paris is exactly what you would picture. Since it was raining and cloudy we could only see so far off the top, but it was still a really great experience!
There’s no such thing as too many Eiffel Tower pictures!
Our trip to Paris was very “touristy,” because next on our list was Notre Dame and the Louvre. We didn’t go inside the Louvre just because that is an all day event and the line was pretty long.
Still raining…
Then, we had to see the Pont des Arts bridge aka the “lock love bridge!” Taylor being the amazing and thoughtful man that he is, brought us a lock 🙂
Around dinner time, the rain would not let up and we were starving. We walked around and stumbled upon a really cute italian place.
Listen, this place was INCREDIBLE. They made their own pasta and sauces from scratch and you could build your own just the way you wanted. They could make any sauce and any noodle and it was perfection. Taylor and I still dream about going back to Paris just for this restaurant.
As we were eating our meal, we looked out the window and noticed the Eiffel tower was glowing! We had no idea we had a view!
This was the perfect way to end our day!
Our plane back to the U.S. didn’t leave until later in the evening the following day, so we got some crepes before heading out!
